A remarkably rare discovery of the fossil claw measuring 38mm from a juvenile Carcharodontosaurus saharicus dinosaur, unearthed from the Red-beds of the Tegana formation geographically located in southeastern Morocco, West Africa, in the hamada which forms the continental intercalaire - the surface of the ungual is fine having a smooth texture and fine attractive toffee colouration. The blood vessel tissue numerous from proximal to the distal tip and the ungual groove well defined. In the right lateral view, the claw has been refixed at the midway point. In the plantar view, the toe claw still retains matrix from the fossil bed.

Carcharodontosaurus Saharicus juvenile claw unearthed in the Sahara western desert of Morocco. The toe claw, a very good example of a rare fossil juvenile dinosaur claw. The exceptional part of this claw is not only the rarity of finding but also the very good preservation of the C.saharicus killing claw.
