THE FOSSIL STORE™ LUXE Mosaic is a new edition in recent years and is proving to be a fast-paced favourite for hotels, swimming pools, and private resident installations. Liken to an Athenian temple wall, combined with a prehistoric Lascaux cave - the composition of the aquatic scene creates a sense of tranquillity and seamless transition throughout the warm soft-toned calcified-limestone mosaic fish wall. 

Each design is processed in-house and each specimen is accented to match the articulation and anatomical positioning of a shoal. Once the design is confirmed we move the process to open-field discovery to work the wondrous warm calcified-limestone beds in the high-level fossiliferous rock layers, discovered off-piste in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming. Here, each specimen, its size, accent, and position are allocated to match the initial custom design to your specification. 

Each tile is from the original bedrock and each fish is prepared in the original bedrock to form each tile. Once all the specimens have been excavated and cut to size, they are imported to

THE FOSSIL STORE™ HQ for further preparation and pneumatic abrasion. Here we further grade and clean each piece to the highest quality standards. Blank tiles are finally graded, accented, and positioned to create a consistent flow throughout the mosaics' colour palette. Tiles that do not pass our quality checks are replaced by further open-field discovery.

Quality control is guaranteed throughout all THE FOSSIL STORE™ processes to produce designs that are tailored to curate that of an original shoal swimming through a 33,900,000 year-old tropical lagoon.
