A Rare museum-standard fossil Spinosaurus aegyptiacus dinosaur bone for sale measuring 49 CM exclusively at THE FOSSIL STORE. An exquisite and well-preserved white fossil tibia in great condition and the colour palette is 100% natural making this specimen all the rarer. Now stabilised after treatment to solidify the visible fractures where fractures have occurred during the fossilisation process.
The illustrations help to show the large medullary cavity and the thickness of the bone which was the main support within the leg for the Spinosaurus dinosaur. Now the complementary surmount has been curated to stylise this piece for interior display with its unique pastel shades of the Drâa region of Morocco making it all the more unique.
Currently, the best fossils are becoming more desirable and of course, more valuable, like all fossil material, any one piece can double in value overnight based on findings and the closure of sites. Old sites are now being heavily re-excavated in the hopes that fossils of such a calibre as this one can be found again, however, this is highly unlikely. Now coupled with the lack of specifically accessible beds, is leading to a concern that the grounds will eventually be extinguished of dinosaur fossils altogether and this is before the governments begin to close the few sites that are left.
