A Rare museum-standard fossil Spinosaurus aegyptiacus dinosaur tooth exclusively available at THE FOSSIL STORE! Here is a a scientifically important, archetypical semi-aquatic Spinosaurus dinosaur tooth demonstrating good preservation. The Spinosaurus tooth specimen displays excellent morphologically throughout from the root to the tip. Overall a rare authentic discovery.
Whilst all too often large teeth sustain integral damage during fossilisation, affectively separating from the roots which breakaway as a result of not having a protective coat, much like that of the enamel surrounding teeth. Minerals help to strengthen and further protect such specimens from eroding away in time, a common cause of the natural elements.
Condition: Very well preserved tooth, solid stable example, with the rigours of wear of the fossil bed. The tooth now consolidated and stabilised. Minerals and aeons of deposition in the Cretaceous fossil bed layer dictate the tonal pallet.
