Through a process of osmosis, minerals transform the interior of the shells chambers, creating crystal clusters to form, this is processed through the action of imbuing, resulting in mineral deposits throughout the internal structure. These minerals consist of quartz and calcite, formed over millions of years during the shells external fossilisation process.
