The Holzmaden Seirocrinus lily plate presented has now sold, however, a fine example of our Holzmaden lily series now available for preorder.
The latest discoveries in recent months will be available from January 2023.

The Seirocrinus Lily
As seen in the photographs provided, our Holzmaden Seirocrinus lilies are of the highest quality and display significantly rare and authentic preservation of the Seirocrinus subangularis lily throughout from the root to the head preserved in eigengrau-black Holzmaden shale.
This particular piece stood 1.8 meters tall, revealing two wonderful Seirocrinus specimens from the flowers through to the bulbs. All specimens embrace a Jurassic driftwood with entwined mineralisation of calcium and pyrite - by far, a superior collector's object of palaeontological curiosity - now curated for an astonishing wall display.
Pyritised throughout the Seirocrinus lily belongs to a large group of marine invertebrates, making these ancient lilies more akin to starfish and sea urchins than plant life as we know it today.
