Wonderful example of a woolly mammoth tooth 300mm. The washboard surface typical of this genus of this mammoth tooth can be observed, the large open plates of enamel show the growth of this large mega fauna ice age beast. The very attractive mellow hue ivory smooth tactic surface now polished, this achieved in a laboratory workshop over the natural wear of the tooth which occurred in the lifetime of the mammoth. An exceptional example and result of the fossil process during the deposition in the permafrost of Siberian Russia.

The tooth now set in a very smart minimal acrylic stand making a superb aesthetic display for a collection and for study.
