Smokey Quartz Sphere 61mm in diameter, shaped from the natural quartz mineral source. Found in the Itremo massif, Ambatofinandrahana District of Madagascar. Quartz growing within pockets in the earth crust. Pockets create an advantageous environment if just the correct amount of heat and gaseous liquids prevail, quartz crystal form and grow, these crystals are affected by the localised minerals and can develop and grow in colour bands, amethyst, citrine, smoky quartz, and rose quartz to name a few of the most popular and admired semi precious gemstone.
