A fine fossil pyrite ammonite set into hallmarked silver frame and bail. This has been Rhodium plated to keep the bright shine everyday. A rare little British fossil ammonite from a location no longer producing these specimens.

Genus: Cardioceras (Pavloviceras), praecordatum Douvillé.
Age: Upper Jurassic, Lower Oxfordian Stage, 164 to 157 million years ago.
Origin: Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, Great Britain.
