A Spinosaurus aegyptiacus dinosaur tibia of important scientific discovery and exceptional museum quality measuring 2.7 ft. This is a fascinating and exceptional specimen displayed on THE FOSSIL STORE AES bronze stand series. Preserved exceedingly well, revealing aspects of what may have been its demise with savage [possible claw] gouges on the surface of the tibia bone to the mid-upper section running diagonally across the surface. Possibly caused by an attack or predatory feeding. Very stable and vivid in colour from the reds of the Drâa region.

Currently, the best fossils are becoming more desirable and of course, more valuable, like all fossil material, any one piece can double in value overnight based on findings and the closure of sites. Old sites are now being heavily re-excavated in the hopes that fossils of such a calibre as this one can be found again, however, this is highly unlikely. Now coupled with the lack of specifically accessible beds, is leading to a concern that the grounds will eventually be extinguished of dinosaur fossils altogether and this is before the governments begin to close the few sites that are left.
