Authenticity + Guarantees
THE FOSSIL STORE issues a personally signed certificate of authenticity for every fossil, mineral and actual item offered and sold online and offline. The Fossil Store guarantees its descriptions in perpetuity and will validate and authenticate every element of a prehistoric or antiquity nature. The photographic identification certificate describes the type, location and age of the artefact and may also contain a brief historical note or information on the process of fossilisation and historical data.
Our Contract
THE FOSSIL STORE at thefossilstore.com international online shop, United Kingdom and Definitions. These General Terms and Conditions will apply when you access The Fossil Store Online Shop or place orders to purchase any of the goods on The Fossil Store Online Shop-Uk. Any reference to WE/US/OUR in these Terms is a reference to The Fossil Store online and any reference to YOU/YOUR means you, the user of the Website. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website and placing your order. By accessing any part of the Website or ordering goods from the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. All orders are subject to availability and will not constitute a binding contract of sale until accepted by us which applies once we have dispatched your order to you. We reserve the right to refuse to accept an order or add additional surcharges to an order under offer or any order that is outsourced. Purchases made on the Website are for your personal or gift use and are not to be used for re-sale, commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. We reserve the right to refuse orders for multiple quantities of an item ordered by any one customer or to anyone postal address. Our contract applies to thefossilstore.com only. Goods sold on other platforms may incur additional surcharges from; delivery rates, governed taxes and delivery timeframes.
Order Process
You may select items from our range of goods, details of which will be added to the Shopping Cart. By clicking on the “Continue” button you submit an offer to buy the goods in the Shopping Cart. As soon as this offer is accepted by us your order forms a binding contract of sale between you and us. We will file a copy of any orders that are accepted by us. When processing your order, items are sent to you once your payment has cleared our banking system. If for any reason any items chosen are out of our stock we may select a replacement to fulfil your order.
Product Photography
THE FOSSIL STORE photography is licensed by Benjamin Allison's product photography. THE FOSSIL STORE product photography throughout our online shop/s, physical shop/s, pop up shop/s, exhibitions and through third-party advertisement; whether through third parties, social mediums or advertising companies; are protected by copyright through Benjamin Allison and THE FOSSIL STORE. Our product photography is produced in-house solely by Benjamin Allison and is not outsourced and can not be used for any advertisement or commercial purposes outside of THE FOSSIL STORE. All rights are reserved and licensed for use by Benjamin Allison only. Photography rights of any product sold by THE FOSSIL STORE are exclusive solely to THE FOSSIL STORE before and after sale. Use of our photography for personal or commercial use is prohibited.
Electrical Components
All THE FOSSIL STORE electrical products and their components are fitted, tested and passed by certified electricians to the UK legal requirement. Upon purchase, all electrical items are the sole responsibility of the customer/bearer. It is your duty and responsibility to test our electrical products and their components by a certified electrician. Annual maintenance checks is recommended for your safety. All electrical products are not the responsibility of THE FOSSIL STORE once received by you. THE FOSSIL STORE is not liable for any faults, affects, damages or injuries to you or third-parties after purchased and received from THE FOSSIL STORE.
Customs Charges - Import Export
Any applicable import or customs, duties and charges, may be charged once the parcel reaches the country of destination. We cannot control or predict what these charges may be as policies vary between countries. Once your parcel has arrived in your country of destination, it will be passed to an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures.
If you are not available when the parcel is delivered, the delivery driver will leave a calling card/email/phone call with instructions with information on how to collect your parcel. Please contact your local post office for prices on import or customs, duties or chargers. (Please note: We can not accept responsibility for late arrivals of deliveries or lost parcels by any courier used). After-purchase | Product Responsibility
THE FOSSIL STORE bears no liability to any product after sale. THE FOSSIL STORE product/s must be placed behind glass to avoid damage, injury or mishandling of any product. THE FOSSIL STORE requires all small products up to 5Kg are placed in locked cabinets. Larger items and all items over 5Kg must be placed behind a toughened glass within a wall or on or within a solid wall that it is securely fixed into. THE FOSSIL STORE product/s must not be accessible to anyone, for the safety of both the owner/bearer and the product/s. We are not responsible for any damage or injury in anyway whatsoever. THE FOSSIL STORE product/s are the responsibility of the owner.
Payment
PayPal offers a variety of different payment methods. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit or debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order and we will not be responsible for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal. We offer the following payment methods through PayPal to ensure that shopping at The Fossil Store online Store is both secure and convenient. PayPal also allows you to pay by E-Check including the following credit/debit cards which are accepted in The Fossil Store online shop: American Express MasterCard VISA Maestro Solo The Fossil Store orders will not be dispatched until payments confirmed, validated, lawful and made in full. All prices are quoted in (£) Sterling and include Tax. All quoted prices exclude delivery charges unless shipping to the United Kingdom where postage is free. PayPal is a safer, faster and a more secure way to pay online. Your financial details are never shared and PayPal remembers everything for you, safeguarding your bank, credit or debit card details. All you need is your email address for quick, easy payment. It is free to send money in the same currency to anyone in the UK when you use your bank account or balance. Placing your order authorises The Fossil Store to charge your credit/debit card account with the purchase amount. Payment is not taken until you accept our Terms and Conditions. In order to avoid delays in processing your order, please ensure that your name, card number, expiry date and security code are entered correctly as displayed on your card. The security code is the last 3 digits printed over the top of the signature field on the back of your MasterCard or VISA card. On American Express cards, the 4-digit security code is printed on the front of the card, to the right above your card number. If your card issuer participates in this program, you will be asked to enter an additional password to confirm your identity as the rightful cardholder. After entering your card details and submitting your order, you will be redirected to a page hosted by your card issuer where you can enter your password. If you are not yet registered for 3D Secure, you can do so free of charge in just a few steps during the online order process or contact your card issuer directly to register. Alternatively, you can select a different payment type. The password you select during the registration process is only known by you and your card issuer and is requested with every purchase.
Your Promise To Us
Before placing an order you can view and amend your order details at any time by clicking on the Shopping Cart. You will automatically be sent an e-mail confirming receipt of your order (Confirmation E-Mail) with a summary of the details of your order, which we would recommend that you print out and keep for your own records. The Confirmation E-mail does not constitute our acceptance of your order; it merely records the fact that we have received the order. You are over 18 and all information and details provided by you to us (including online registration) are true, accurate and up to date in all respects and at all times. Whilst we will do our best to deliver your goods within the delivery time you have selected with your purchase, sometimes it may take longer than expected. You accept that on occasion, it may take us more than 30 days to deliver your goods and we thank you for your patience should this occur. If you change your mind in the meantime, you have the right to cancel your order in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. In the event that we are unable to meet the original delivery time stated, we will notify you of this as soon as possible and at the same time specify a new estimated delivery time. Where you have ordered multiple goods, we may sometimes need to deliver your goods in more than one delivery. If for any reason the goods ordered by you are not available at the time you place your order, we will notify you of this by e-mail. No contract of sale will be concluded in respect of goods that are not available. As soon as the goods are delivered to you, they become your responsibility. If for any reason goods ordered by you have not been paid for prior delivery, payment will be required same-day as delivery, regardless of item quantities or whom signs or receives an order from The Fossil Store. Prices And Delivery Charges
All prices listed on the Website include the currently applicable statutory value-added tax if applied. The prices shown on the Website do not include delivery charges. To refer to our shipping charges please refer to our shipping page or follow this link: Shipping. We reserve the right to make a surcharge for deliveries to very remote areas. If a surcharge is applicable to your order, you will be informed at the checkout stage of the order process, prior to placing your order. If you decide to cancel your order and return all of the items ordered, we can not refund your delivery charge and items must be returned in their original condition and must not be damaged, tarnished, scratched, altered or worn and include the original packaging and any related accessories.

Received Incorrect Item/s
Do not worry, this is an “innocent mistake”, however, it is your legal obligation to notify a staff member of THE FOSSIL STORE as soon as possible by writing to info@thefossilstore.com. Once confirmed, we'll book our courier on a date of your choosing to collect the incorrect item/s in their original parcel, at our cost.
Identifying you have received the correct item/s; you will receive two methods of identification, one by email and one included with your product.
These methods include the original photograph of your item/s that were listed on our website (proof of item/s purchased), these are included on the certificate of authenticity which we provide for free with all THE FOSSIL STORE products.
This is a photograph of the product/s you have purchased from us at THE FOSSIL STORE. By law you must inform us THE FOSSIL STORE of any incorrect item/s that have been "innocently sent by mistake" to you.
If you have received an incorrect item/s it is your legal obligation to inform a member of our staff at THE FOSSIL STORE as soon as possible at info@thefossilstore.com
Faulty Goods
If your goods are faulty or do not meet the description given on the Website, please contact us as soon as possible at info@thefossilstore.com or use our Contact Form. We ask you to return the faulty goods to us and will then provide you with replacement goods where available, or alternatively give you a full refund for those goods (excluding delivery charges).
Statutory Rights

The personal information that you provide to us whilst using the Website is very important to us and we will only collect and use it in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be accessed on our Privacy page.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to you where such loss or damage is not reasonably foreseeable to you and us at the point at which you agree to these Terms (including where the loss or damage results from our breach of these Terms). Loss or damage will be reasonably foreseeable where it could be contemplated by you and us. We will also not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to you where you are not entering into these Terms as a consumer. We do not accept any liability for damage to your computer system or loss of data that results from your use of the Website. We do not guarantee which content and services will be available on the Website. All content and services on the Website are provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis; or guarantee that the Website will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition nor that the information on the Website itself will be free from errors or omissions (however, we will use all reasonable endeavours to correct any errors or omissions as soon as practicable once they have been brought to our attention). When you order goods from the Website, our aggregate liability to you for any loss or damage arising in connection with these Terms shall be limited in respect of each claim, to the purchase price of your order. We are not responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these Terms if the delay or failure arises out of any event which is beyond our reasonable control. These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes that may arise shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
