All of our products are dispatched direct from us right here at THE FOSSIL STORE studio in the United Kingdom. Rest assured, we have already put preventative measures in place to ensure all of our products are being handled safely, hygienically, and our staff have been trained on regularly updated safety protocols.

Yes! By request, we offer a tracked only service without the need of a signature from you on arrival and you will be responsible for who receives the package.

Yes! Nothing has changed apart from a possible delay on refunds for returned items - all returns are subject to quarantine for 14 days until it is safe for our staff to examine your returns for the safety of our staff and you, our customers.

THE FOSSIL STORE returns guide will help you understand what product/s you can return, how to return your product/s and how much time you have to return such items.
Return any goods purchased from THE FOSSIL STORE in their original condition for an exchange or full refund within 21 days.
(excludes sale items, outsourced products, projects, custom orders and minus any handling or delivery fees incurred).
For us to accept any returns, all items must not be; damaged, tarnished, scratched, altered, worn, missing original packaging or related accessories.
Please contact THE FOSSIL STORE before returning your Palaeontological Fossil, Artefact or Mineral product to us with the original invoice.
All conditions apply to our pop up shops, exhibitions and online stores. We do not cover the cost of returns at this time. Returns must be sent by insured signed for-recorded delivery
Once we have received your return/s we'll confirm receipt by email notifying you that we are dealing with your return/s, followed by; 1/A replacement product/s where available. If an item is out of stock we will contact you and let you know when it will be back in stock or help you with another product. 1/B Issue you a full refund, excluding any handling and delivery fees incurred.
Our returns guide states that If you wish to cancel a Palaeontological Fossil, Artefact or Mineral product order before dispatch, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following for us to respond;
- Full name
- Product name
- Invoice number
- SKU number
If your goods are faulty, please contact us as soon as possible. You have 21 days from receipt of delivery to report a faulty product. Once returned we will send your replacement or alternatively, provide a full refund, excluding any handling and delivery fees incurred.

In addition to your 21 Days Return Guarantee, you have a statutory right to cancel your order and receive a full refund (including delivery charges if the whole of your order is cancelled) provided you notify us before your order is dispatched from our studio. Under our returns guide policy, THE FOSSIL STORE is under no obligation to accept returns and provide refunds for goods that do not comply with our terms and conditions (notwithstanding your statutory rights). Goods that are not accepted by us will be returned to you. If we have not received returned goods within a reasonable time following any returns or cancellations, we reserve the right to hold the funds used in conjunction with the purchase until we receive the order in its original state.
Furthermore to these conditions, if the purchaser changes their mind or has not fully and carefully understood our full descriptions, sizes or condition report we reserve the right not to accept goods back on a full refund basis however, we may apply a credit note or credit at that time against another product on our website or in stock as a replacement (less future postal costs which shall be applied in the case of replacement products at the discretion of THE FOSSIL STORE). Deliveries on all orders made by The Fossil store are only free to mainland United Kingdom (free delivery excludes the Channel Islands, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands and some areas of the Scottish Highlands, Eire, Northern Ireland and all international regions), orders will be dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Larger products/orders may take longer and require custom shipping crates which can take longer to prepare. (Please contact us if you have any queries regarding delivery/shipping). TIMES AND DELIVERY
Orders are routinely dispatched and can arrive within 2 - 5 working days. (Please note: All delivery lead times are likely to be extended over public holidays.) If any goods ordered are out of stock or unavailable we will contact you to discuss your preferential course of action. 1. Full refund. (Please note: Refunds can be issued immediately, however, can take up to 42 days to process.) 2. Credit on your account.
Credit has no expiry and we're happy to offer something similar to your original order at a concession price if the product of interest is more than your original order. All prices listed on our website include the currently applicable statutory value-added tax or VAT when applicable and if this is ever applied in the future, these additional costs will be visible in the checkout process. All parcels will be sent using Royal Mail’s services and various mainstream national and international couriers/carriers for the UK and international deliveries.
A signature will be required upon receipt of your delivery. If you are not in to take delivery of your parcel, the courier will normally leave a calling card informing you of what to do next, whether it's to collect your order or have it re-delivered by your local post office or local couriers to a time that suits you. The prices shown on the website product pages do not include shipping charges unless your address location is eligible for free delivery. (Please note: Free delivery applies to the United Kingdom only).
Any applicable import or customs, duties and charges, may be charged once the parcel reaches the country of destination. We cannot control or predict what these charges may be as policies vary between countries. Once your parcel has arrived in your country of destination, it will be passed to an internal postal service, according to standard delivery procedures.
If you are not available when the parcel is delivered, the delivery driver will leave a calling card with instructions with information on how to collect your parcel. Please contact your local post office for prices on import or customs, duties or chargers. (Please note: We can not accept responsibility for late arrivals of deliveries or lost parcels by any courier used). You have the option of providing a delivery address that is different to your billing address during your order process on our checkout page. We will enclose an invoice in your parcel. If you wish for your invoice to be delivered to your billing address, please notify us when you place your order so we can arrange this for you. We may require additional fees when shipping items to the Channel Islands, Islands, Highlands or other remote locations similar to these. Deliveries destined for remote areas may take longer and be subject to a surcharge, under these circumstances we will contact you.
