Orbicular Jasper sphere with inflections of spherulitic crystallisation of chalcedony layers these forming as tube or eye agate. The name orbicular jasper refers to the spherical and orbicular structure of the mineralised inclusions. Also often referred to as Ocean jasper as it was discovered along the intertidal shores of north-east Madagascar.
The colour tones and inflections in this orb are particular interesting. Technically named Rhyolite, it's commonly referred to as orbicular jasper. Found in Analalava district in the Mahajanga jungles of Madagascar.
