An attractive Orbicular jasper sphere 61mm from Madagascar curated for interior decor, showcasing oceanic and earthly washed colours. Ocean jasper is used for a variety of jasper minerals found along the intertidal shores of northeast Madagascar. At 61mm, freckled with spherical mineral orb inclusions, the name orbicular jasper refers to the spherical and orbicular structure of the mineralised inclusions. However can be often referred to as ocean jasper due to it locality along the intertidal shores of north-east Madagascar. Technically named Rhyolite, it's commonly referred to as orbicular jasper. Found in Analalava district in the Mahajanga jungles of Madagascar.
