Origin: Tegana formation, the province 'De Ksar-es-Souk', Kem Kem deposits, Morocco, North Africa.
Age: Mesozoic era, Cretaceous period, Cenomanian to Turonian stages 100 to 89 million years ago.

dyrosaurus gharial crocodile dermal scute plates. These plates create the leathery hide of the crocodiles archetypical appearance. (like our other fossil crocodile specimens).. The basin of phosphate in Morocco is about 120km in length and forms part of a greater deposit of phosphate which stretches as far as the middle east.
