A beautiful archaic Bronze Age bangle, affected by centuries allowing a vibrant oxidisation of vivid fern and pistachio greens creating a lovely palate of colours. With detailing rope and chevron motive incised edge. The whole encrusted with sediments, this mostly obscuring the chevron decoration which could be professionally cleaned if desired. We would normally recommend the verdigris patina is part of the charm and value of this ancient artefact and be left intack.

A tear in the metal, running from one side to the middle of the bulbous ogee moulded centre lobe, an ancient tear that has increased slightly since excavation. Provenance, an intriguing and unique item traded from Mali through North Africa to Europe.
