the fossil store Ltd lineage 

Our founder of the company received his first fossil as a gift from his elder brother in 1969.At the time he thought it the only split pebble/stone Dactyloceras Ammonite in the world, his brother telling of how he had found it on a beach in Dorset, in the United Kingdom! Since then his interest grew.

being in business all his working life in the Art world his interest lay with the fossils he discovered from time to time, in the late eighties he travelled abroad and re-discovered another world of fossils anew. through the nineties he established himself as a frequent fossil buyer in North Africa, returning to the UK in 1997 and setting up his first web page advertising The Fossil Store, in 1998/9.

Under the banner of The Fossil Store, ‘Fossils in Design’ evolved putting  fossil sculpture under the spotlight of the more traditionalist art and design areana's.

By 2008 The Fossil Store Ltd was established and we move from strength to strength, now a second generation business.On Location many moons ago Benjamin and Rachel take to the 'hippy' trail nearing Marrakech.
