Historical Provenance
Ancient cultures have left behind delicately crafted tools exhibiting their skill and pride, dating back to two million years The Palaeolithic Period. Each style of arrowhead/spearhead was specialized for individual purposes, particularly the type or size of prey. Some were made specifically for catching salmon, birds, small mammals and larger mammals. Scrapers for cleaning and tanning of hides, flints for igniting fires, tattooing and many more uses.
Blades and projectile points were delicately flaked and beautifully executed for accuracy. Flakey methods were developed to enhance control when manufacturing and shaping the weapon in the most intricate way.
Some points were so well executed they served as items of prestige by their owner and can be found in graves associated with traditional burials. These artefacts are also left to record their passing and are the oldest traces of human activity.
The finest points are manufactured out of the most stunning gem material such as agate, translucent chalcedony and transparent crystalline quartz.
