Description
Complete Woolly Mammoth Tooth (Lower Molar specimen); with its Root still attached (Mammoth Teeth are found mostly incomplete, or without the Root structure). The Whole specimen is quite weighty, a solid Tooth showing great detail and enamel preservation. The chewing cusps are in good condition with distinct grooves. It is thought that only Complete Teeth such as this example are found / discovered still seated in the jaw, and removed to sell individually. Tooth has been stabilized to preserve its extraordinary condition.
