Description

Complete Tooth of Carcharodontosaurus Dinosaur, with Good proximal Root end

Exceptional and attractive enamel condition, extraordinary markings to the enamel prevail. These stripe like patterns have occurred during the Fossilization process, influenced by the environmental conditions of the bedding plain

Prominent characteristics of this predatory tooth intact and excellent preservation

Very few Complete, with proximal root end Teeth, are found, we have only come across a handful of Teeth with their Original Root still attached.

Condition Report

Highly sought after tooth showing unusual colourationBlond with darker deep reddish or maroon streaking, in constant demand this Carcharodontosaurus Dinosaur Tooth is a rarity among them.

Good natural patina sheen to the enamel, original Glossy patina, with incredibly keen serrations

Tooth demonstrates the charatoristic and excellent Sabre Curve, fairly slim tooth with no crushing or malformation, and of a good size. Minimal repair, toward the crown/tip, this is to be expected from larger specimen teeth.

Some evidence of Life/ Predatory Feeding wear to tip, suggests that this Tooth was in some use, minimal so possibly seated toward the back of the jaw

Information

Natural Wear such as life/feeding wear, or Fossil wear and is to be expected from Teeth, especially from a large Predatory Dinosaur such as the Carcharodontosaurus. The search for these Teeth has caused the Fossil beds to be much extended, as Fossil sites are limited, and almost worked out in this region, so less material is being found, and thus less high quality specimens are found.

Assuredly that material will decrease as the beds become completely worked out
