Description
Good example of the Cornuproetus Cornutus Trilobite, order Phacopida, Subfamily Asteropyginae with good detail still intact such as the Thorax; the Axial and Pleural Lobes, with good and distinct features of this genus still prominent like the Cephalon and facial structure.
Notice the eye facets, very distinct and in excellent condition. Little Fossil wear, but is to be expected from most Fossil species found today, as many Fossil sites slowly deplete, and others have become much deeper, and therefore Fossils are subject to more weathering.
Highly Collectable and good size Cornuproetus Trilobite specimen; Affordable Fossil Trilobite for their current availability and obtain ability on site
