Description

Superb Fossilized Phasmida [stick type] Insect from the Jurassic, exceptional preservation with the whole anatomy of the invertebrate clearly exposed, and well positioned on original lithographic limestone bedrock plate

Are becoming now increasingly less frequently available, much of this fossil material is already in collections, working quarries are limited and finds are increasingly becoming more scarce

The Propygolampis resembles the modern day Water Strider or Water Boatman, Scientist believe that these insects were aquatic, and are commonly known as, Water Bugs, the Propygolampis was previously named; Chresmoda obscura, which was rediscribed as short-horned grasshopper, hence Propygolampis Bronni.
