Description
Renowned Type of Echinoid species, the Temnocidaris
Fine group which are on their original bedrock, each individual specimen showing great detail, one specimen has suffered some malformation (occurring and cause of the fossil site/beds; weight, and also location).
Very few Echinoid specimens are found in pristine condition due to their delicate features and structure
There are four Echinoids in total & all are of good size, the narrow ambulacrum is visible, the smaller interambulacral tubercles keenly pronounced, and the apical disc is also exposed on one of the echinoids specimens.
Sometimes Temnocidaris Echinoid specimens are found along side there large primary spines, but understandably this is Rare due to the nature of their anatomy, most often they have broken away or missing
