Description

Very Rare Jimbacrinus Crinoid Specimen, articulated Permian Crinoids are quite difficult to find and acquire; to obtain a complete specimen and of this preservation is virtually impossible in todays Fossil Hunting.

You will see many example are malformed or crushed due to their delicate anatomy, such as the Aboral Cup, Pinnule or Crown, and Columnal.

This particular Australian Crinoid Species has a large Aboral cup with highly ornamented spiky plates. The Arms of the Invertebrate show the finest detail; due to its Highly preserved state and condition.

Fantastic Colouration, and well positioned on Natural / Original Bedrock Matrix.
