Description
Very Rare and Highly preserved Fossil Crinoid, known as the Jimbacrinus Crinoid
Articulated Permian Crinoids are quite difficult to acquire, especially of this preservation and well kept form, usually they are found crushed or malformed.
This particular type of Crinoid specie has a large, and robust Aboral cup (which feeds through, right to the reverse/back of the matrix bedrock), highly ornamented spiky plates, which is demonstrated very well in this specimen
