Description

Fine Amber Specimen, with insect inclusion, polished with one of the more Rare Insect inclusions to find in Fossil resin; the Lepidopterous Larvae commonly known as the Caterpillar.

Moths, Butterflies and Caterpillars are thought to be the more difficult inclusion to find in Amber specimens.

Condition Report

This is a extremely fine specimen, not only is the Amber clear and crisp, with no cracks nor air bubbles, but the specimen within is exquisitely, and clearly visible.

Exceptional detail with all the anatomy displayed well; such as the eyes, head, and abdomen. Also the Positioning of the specimen could be better, which is also a vital element with Amber specimens, as the Caterpillar can be viewed from all angles of the polished Resin.
